Music Class

Sing, Dance & Learn!!

Once a month we have a music instructor come to our school and teach the children music & dance. The children play instruments, dance, and learn songs.

Music classes can be incredibly beneficial for children in early childhood, as they can help to foster a love of music and give children the opportunity to explore their creative side.
Music classes can also help children to develop their motor skills and improve their concentration, as well as help to improve their social skills.

Cooking Class

Once a month we have Chef Lamar who comes to our school and cook healthy snacks with the children.

Cooking classes for children in early childhood can be a great way to teach them basic kitchen skills, as well as introduce them to new flavors and ingredients.
Cooking together can help build family bonds and teach kids how to take care of their own nutrition.
It can also help foster a healthy relationship with food and encourage creativity in the kitchen.

Spanish Class

Once a month we have a Spanish teacher come to our school and teach the children Spanish.

Additionally, learning a second language can help children to gain a better understanding of their own native language, helping them to become better communicators in the long run.

Mystery Reader

Once a month we have a mystery reader from the Free Library of Philadelphia come to our school to read to the children.

Storytime is an important part of early childhood development. Not only does it help children develop a love of reading, but it also helps to foster their creativity and imagination.
Storytime also provides a great opportunity to help young children develop their language and communication skills.
It can also help to foster a sense of connection and community between children and their peers, as well as between parents and children.
